Image Alignment

Introduction

These pages present a lot of examples of aligning images and text.

Most of the examples appear within fairly small table cells. This saves space, and can illustrate a technique without requiring much text. It also reduces the variations caused by different screen resolutions. The formatting options work just the same when used outside of a table.

I've borrowed some student bloopers to use as text in these examples. Here's what the author has to say about these:

THE WORLD ACCORDING TO STUDENT BLOOPERS

Richard Lederet, St. Paul's School

Intro: One of the fringe benefits of being an English or History teacher is receiving the occasional jewel of a student blooper in an essay. I have pasted together the following "history" of the world from certifiably genuine student bloopers collected by teachers throughout the United States from eighth grade through college level. Read carefully, and you will learn a lot.
