I decided to try using an edge mask to create a border for this photo.
I opened a new greyscale image of the same size with a white background. I used point-to-point
selection to make the pattern. Then I used the airbrush with crumpled paper texture and a
medium gray to paint into the edge area. Then saved the mask to an alpha channel.
Here I've loaded the mask from the other image's alpha channel.
I still had the selection in the mask image, so I saved that to an alpha channel and
loaded it into the image. I applied the Filter Factory U "Don't Drive Drunk" filter.
I added feathering of
seven to the selection, then applied the Filter Factory A "Tunnel tile" filter over
the "Don't Drive Drunk". I like the way tunnel tile gives some reflection of the
kids in the top and bottom.
