The Making of "The Bird"

This was the starting image. I first took the negative of the photo, and then combined the negative and positive using image arithmetic "lightest." The colors were a bit washed out, so I brightened them by multiplying the image by itself. Then I applied a circle deformation, and completed the image with a BladePro frame.
