I use JavaScript for a number of functions on this site. The site is viewable without JavaScript, but you may enjoy your visit here more if you have JavaScript enabled. Some versions of Internet Explorer 3 do not support JavaScript .js files. If you're using one of these, much of my JavaScript won't work in your browser. But I hope you enjoy your visit anyway. | |

Image rollovers | Many of the images change to an alternate image if you run your mouse over them. |

Slide shows | There are a couple of JavaScript slide shows on the site. |
| Music | Many of my pages offer a musical selection. These are optional - I never start music unless you request it. |

Generating content | Some of the actual content on most pages is generated by JavaScript, such as the footer at the bottom of the page. |
| Preloading |
I preload many of my pages to speed up your download time. Whenever you see a "Next" option on the navigation bar at the top, the next page is probably being preloaded for you. Note: If you proceed to the next page while it is in the midst of being preloaded, images sometimes display only partially or not at all. Just reload the page if this happens. You can avoid this by waiting until all browser activity stops before moving on to the next page. Preloading is only available if you're viewing the site within frames. |
